Life’s Too Short
Cherish your health. You’ll never know if one day you will wake up and have the rug pulled out from under you. Pole hard. Play hard. You never know if one day you wake up and have all your dreams taken away from you in a snap without warning. Take care of your body. Take care of your health. It’s the only one you get in this life. Don’t let life pass you by. Because it just really might pass by a lot quicker than you think. Because you might wake up with a health problem that might completely change your life in a way you were not expecting. Life’s too short.

I remember ever since I was a wee little kid I had a fascination with end of the world predictions, the end days, global natural disasters, pole shifts.. lol you get the idea. If there was any end of the world scares that really got me, I would have to admit it’s the December 2012 one. Ever since I was a wee little kid, I wondered where I would be when the clock struck midnight on January 1st, 2012. I remember thinking as a kid, where would I be at the age of 28 (turning 29 this year)? Well here I am, married, in a 2nd home, 2 furbabies and I have a six pack. So if the world ends this year, I might be a little pissed off because I ‘m having a good time right now! Now that’s finally 2012, I feel differently about the end of the world. I just don’t believe in that crap any more. We should be more concerned about fluoride in our water if anything :p
So where was I when the clock struck midnight? I was in the back yard with my hubby and my furbabies were wondering the yard. We ended 2011 with a hot kiss that also welcomed 2012. We have been together for 6 years and honestly things just keep getting hotter and hotter with us.

I know I complained that 2011 sucked really bad but I have to admit that 2011 was the best year for me in pole. I made the most gains in 1 year than I have in my 3 years of poleling. I wonder what 2012 will bring? Cheers!

Healthy Fit Marriage
I’m so thankful that my hubby also lives his life through health and fitness. I remember dating someone back in the day who didn’t like that I liked going to the gym or liked working out and being in shape. LOL!!!!! But thank God I married someone who not only cares about my health, fitness and well being, but also his own! Because we both put health and fitness first in our lives, we just live so well together.
On the weekends we like to sleep in. But the first most important thing we must do first thing in the morning is our workouts and that’s whatever it may be. We love going to the gym together (even though I’m taking a break from the gym and doing other workouts). We love making interesting protein shakes afterwards. We love comparing and sharing supplements together. We enjoy discovering interesting superfoods. We also believe in the importance of exercising our dog which is why we love going for long walks with our dog.
We love pushing ourselves and challenging ourselves through movement. Maybe it’s the pain and progress that makes us feel alive. Maybe it’s how far we have come that has inspired us to go further.
My husband and I constantly joke that when we’re 50, we are still going to be ripped and in shape. We’ve promised that we will live our lives through health and fitness. We actually want to be Tony Horton when we’re 50!
We couldn’t imagine giving up on this lifestyle. We know no other.
