Yesterday I had a photo shoot. And wow.. I’m so out of shape when it comes to modelling. LOL! It’s been a few years. But thanks to an awesome photographer, I know I got some great shots. Some of it is about fitness, strength, and art. I cannot wait to get my photos back from the photog. Only some I can share. The others are my Hubby’s Valentines Day present! :p Shhhhhh…….!!!!

OMG It’s 2012!

I remember ever since I was a wee little kid I had a fascination with end of the world predictions, the end days, global natural disasters, pole shifts.. lol you get the idea. If there was any end of the world scares that really got me, I would have to admit it’s the December 2012 one. Ever since I was a wee little kid, I wondered where I would be when the clock struck midnight on January 1st, 2012. I remember thinking as a kid, where would I be at the age of 28 (turning 29 this year)? Well here I am, married, in a 2nd home, 2 furbabies and I have a six pack. So if the world ends this year, I might be a little pissed off because I ‘m having a good time right now! Now that’s finally 2012, I feel differently about the end of the world. I just don’t believe in that crap any more. We should be more concerned about fluoride in our water if anything :p

So where was I when the clock struck midnight? I was in the back yard with my hubby and my furbabies were wondering the yard. We ended 2011 with a hot kiss that also welcomed 2012. We have been together for 6 years and honestly things just keep getting hotter and hotter with us.

I know I complained that 2011 sucked really bad but I have to admit that 2011 was the best year for me in pole. I made the most gains in 1 year than I have in my 3 years of poleling. I wonder what 2012 will bring? Cheers!

One common theme I see with all pole artists is that they LOVE their music. Everyone seems to be obsessed about one genre or another. One other thing I love about pole is that I can combine with another one of my passions, music. Once in a while I have posted music I had been listening to. I’d like to start regularly posting the music I’ve been poleling too.

I recently found these awesome beats and they are my top favourite right now. I don’t know what it is about these tunes but they just get me so pumped up when I’m jamming on the pole. I’m defiantly using one of these tunes when I’m performing in the Toronto Pole Dance Fitness Showcase this October.
